Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.

This past weekend was another International Hermit and Stitch Weekend hosted by Joysze. I can't lie. I really didn't stitch. I played American McGee's Alice on Saturday and started Madness Returns on Sunday. But while I watched some golf with my grandpa for Father's Day, I stitched this up:
I have wanted to stitch the Assassin's Creed logo for awhile. I used some left over linen from Dark Toon Link. I wanted it to look sort of rustic. I should have maybe only used one strand for the backstitch lettering. Oh well. =]

Sometimes its all to the good when you take a stitchy break and do something else that's fun ;) As for your AC creed logo, I've never played the game but have heard tons of good things about it and I think your stitching turned out wonderfully!

The linen does indeed give it a rustic look that's just right (not too rough or dark) and I think your lettering worked out well - it's really clear, and fits the more casual feel of the work. If you had used one strand, it tends to pull the letters tighter, and you get a more formal and subtle look I find. Great finish!

Rusticity achieved; it looks really cool! I'm about to jump on the AC bandwagon soon (finally got the games), but Alice looks intriguing too... Hope it's as fun as it looks!
